The Role WAS (Middleware) Admin Support WAS servers to run various software applications. deploying and maintaining WebSphere Application Servers and IHS servers. Candidate should be comfortable & experienced with the basic concepts & performance tuning of various aspects in WAS and WAS ND server’s implementation, maintenance, monitoring & debugging.

• Installing, configuring and administering/managing WebSphere Application Server (WAS), WAS ND
• Trouble shooting of WAS environment and applications (Analyze JVM logs, Trace Logs, FFDC, native logs, java core, heap dumps)
• Performance tuning WAS, WPS by configuring caching, queuing, pooling, heapsize and optimizing other JVM parameters.
• Work with Enterprise Architecture team and development teams for WebSphere Application server and Portal Server implementations.
• Configuring SSL certificates between Application Server and Web Servers.
• Involve in analysis and resolving of WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server Security Vulnerability.
• Applying WAS FixPacks, Ifixes and perform WAS java upgrades when needed.
• Maintaining backup of Application, Server configuration, logs etc

Required Technical Skill Set

• IBM WAS 8.5.x and above administration.

Non-Technical Skill

• Excellent Communication (Written / Verbal) , preferred languages English / Hindi / Marathi
• Very good team player
• Possess “Can do “attitude with positive mindset.
